The Ice Cream Shop/Bob's

The most popular place in town with local expats, the Ice Cream Shop is run by an Australian, Bob, and his Thai wife.

Together they serve up Western and Thai grub in addition to six flavours of ice cream and a full bar

This is a good place to watch the sunset and meet the local English-speakers, you'll find fish and chips, pies, and schnitzel on the menu (a nod to the handful of German expats in town) as well as Western breakfasts and a couple of pizza choices including a very good, but not on the menu, seafood pizza.

They can also organise eco-tours and day trips here, and it's a good place to get local information about what's happening in town.

Open daily, 7:00 till 23:00ish in the high season, 8:00 or 10:00 till 20:00 in the low season.
