Abacus
A real treat
What we say:
A classic French menu in a romantic garden or elegant interior setting, impeccable service and incredible food mean a trip to Abacus is always a special occasion.
The focus is French, but with some special Asian twists in places. Special dishes include arguably the best carpaccio in town, and a lamb shank with lentils that is to die for. The Abacus burger is frequently vaunted as the best in town, and not by the owners of the restaurant either. Fans of fish will be pleased by the menu too, which features dory, tuna, salmon and sea bass all beautifully prepared.
Slightly more expensive than others in town, and worth every penny.
Regardless of whether there is actually an occasion to celebrate or not, Abacus is worth checking out.
