What we say: 
Santai Restaurant is attached to the Santai Hotel and has a Scandinavian man as its head chef. The large wine list features many imported wines that are pricey, but this is to be expected in Bali.
The menu is creatively Western with quality produce and meals such as Australian steaks, hamburgers, sandwiches and pasta. It's a pleasant environment with dense foliage surrounding the split level pavilion. The upper section can be used by those wishing to lounge and eat simultaneously. The menu claims that this is the best food in Amed and it certainly is of a high standard. Whatever you do, don't ask for the WiFi password. The staff will try to charge you 40,000 rupiah for the privilege, leaving a sour taste in your mouth after a fantastic meal.
