Manik Organik
Vegetarian and organic standout
What we say:
Manik Organik has undergone a recent overhaul and now offers a wider menu, with an emphasis on vegetarian and organic meals.
This is the spot to head if you have any sort of allergies, as they'll pay attention to what you say you can or can't eat — or if you just like no-fuss, delicious food. Sit in air-con inside, or pull up a chair at one of the tables on the veranda, but enjoy free WiFi at either. Great smoothies, energy balls, chocolate beetroot slice, and in particular excellent sandwiches. If you're in the mood for a sambo bursting with freshness, head here and not nearby Cafe Batujimbar. Upstairs a range of alternative therapies are dispensed by practitioners working part-time, and there's a beautiful bamboo room for yoga classes. A selection of grocery items and healthy treats are available to buy as well. Recommended. We wish they would open a branch down on Sanur beach somewhere.
