Red Carpet
Popular for early and late drinks
What we say: 
Red Carpet claims to have the best selection of champagne on the island. We admit that we've had a celebratory plate of oysters here, and they were exceptional (and as you'd expect, costly).
But, we're not sure about a place that makes its staff dress in dated red outfits that are almost offensive to all involved (are they an ironic joke that we don't quite get?), but this seems to be the place for early and late drinks along Laksmana, where the pickings are on the slim side. A range of champagne cocktails are on offer, but again as you'd expect for Bali, prices aren't cheap. The views onto Laksmana are nothing to write home about, but head out the back for a peek at the pretty paddy. It's a peaceful world away from the hustle on the street out front.
