Great beachside location
What we say: 
A branch of the Gili Trawangan restaurant and bar, the Gili Air version offers a similar standard of good food and views.
It's popular and, like the Trawangan establishment, the food is can be very good — and Scallywags does make for a great place for an afternoon drink to escape the heat. It's also a prime people-watching spot and the beachside setting is pleasant with great views across to Lombok.
On the not-so-great side of things, the service is slipshod and on each of our three visits the advertised WiFi was a long-running source of frustration to get to work. They also have accommodation available.
