What we say:
This steakhouse has a mighty selection of meats, mostly served with veggies, salad and your choice of fried or jacket potato. Expect a broad range of price and quality.
Being in Laos, the pork and chicken is better value. They offer four grades of beef: local, imported, imported tenderloin and kobe beef imported from Japan. The steak tenderloin at 190,000 kip melts in your mouth and if you order the local steak at 50,000 kip, well, you get what you pay for.
Daily specials vary from chicken cordon bleu to tom yum soup to a traditional British roast dinner with all the trimmings every Sunday. Xayoh is also a pizzeria and offers free delivery for their pies.
The lovely setting often outshines the food, the quality of which is inconsistent.
