Sticky Fingers

Home to the tom yum martini

What we say: 4 stars

Sticky Fingers is a groovy little bar/restaurant and a favourite with the local expat community for its good quality Western food made with fresh ingredients.

Specials are often fusion fish dishes and the menu offers international selections like chicken quesadillas, falafel plates and Lao basil pesto. It also offers a great variety of comfort foods, with delicious bangers and mash and mouthwatering bacon cheeseburgers. The use of ingredients not native to the region renders prices around 50,000 kip per meal.

Daily specials are good value and happy hours on Wednesdays and Fridays from 18:00-20:00 evenings mean that cocktails, like their famous tom yum martini, are half price. It's usually packed during happy hour, so be prepared to mingle.

If you've had one too many, come back the next morning for the hangover breakfast with or without a Bloody Mary. The notice board is a good place to find rooms to rent and bikes for sale.
