The Antipodean

While Marmalade had Aussie/Californian style cafe market to itself until recently, it has recently been joined by at least one new rival: The Antipodean.

Mobbed from the moment it opened, pleasing customers with the quality of its coffee, the oversized Western breakfasts (with real bacon and sausages), and packed sandwiches. Check out the menu, which takes over a large section of an entire wall, for all your needs. Prices are moderate and the staff friendly and helpful -- even if they are a little to eagre to take the plate away (yes I was still chewing).

Bangsar Village is a twenty minute walk (or five minute cab ride) from Bangsar LRT on the Kelana Jaya line.
