Excellent but expensive
What we say:
When it comes to the most refined Chinese food in KL, the best place to look is in the city's five star hotels.
One of the finest options is Li Yen in the Ritz Carlton. It is renowned for its service, its sumptuous decor and cassic Cantonese cuisine, including top notch dim sum.
Stand-out dishes include the golden prawns (deep fried with shredded yam) and deep fried fish with salt and pepper. While the food is not outrageously priced for the quality on offer, alcohol prices are another matter entirely.
The closest public transport to the Ritz Carlton is Bukit Bintang Monorail.
