A solid performer
What we say:
A very solid performer, producing good North Indian food at decent prices.
Indian Kitchen is one of the handful of reliably good North Indian restaurants in Bangsar Baru (New Bangsar), serving up favourites such as tandoori chicken (marinated in yoghurt and spices, and then cooked in a clay oven); aloo gobi masala (potato and caulifower curry) and butter naan (fluffy flat bread). But it also has some lesser known regional dishes, such mutton bhuna (rich medium spiced curry) and chicken amritsari (drier onion-rich curry), which are well worth trying.
Nearby Chutney Mary (21 Jalan Telawi 2, T: (03) 2282 9923) is also a good bet, albeit with higher prices, and more sophisticated decor.
Bangsar Village is a twenty minute walk (or five minute cab ride) from Bangsar LRT on the Kelana Jaya line.
