Restoran SK Corner
A good introduction to Mamak fare
What we say:
A good introduction to Mamak (Muslim Indian) fare in Bukit Bintang.
Now in it's third and largest incarnation in the area over the last five years, it finally looks to have found a long-term home.
Part of a small local chain, SK Corner offers all the classics, including roti canai (fluffy flat bread with curry saunce), tosai (thin savoury pancake, usually served with curry sauces and chutneys), Mamak mee (spicy fried noodles), ayam goreng (fried chicken), vadai (savoury doughnuts), curry puffs, teh tarik (hot sweet milky tea), teh o ais (sweet black iced tea), milo (malted chocolate drink). Open all hours, it's the perfect spot for a cheap and tasty snack, whatever the time of day or night.
Restoran SK Corner is on the corner of Jalan Rembia and Tengkat Tong Shin and the closest monorail station is Bukit Bintang, a ten minute walk away.
