Nagasari Curry House
Curry + beer
What we say:
Many of KL's Indian eateries are also alcohol free. Not so the tasty Nagasari Curry House, so if you like a beer with your curry, head here.
Nagasari is a bit unusual in other ways too. Although it looks like a Mamak shop, and opens nearly as long hours, its menu is a mix of south and north Indian dishes, including banana leaf (12:00-15:00), tandoori chicken and aloo capsicum (potatoes and sweet pepper curry), all done to the same high standards. It also has a stall serving Chinese vegetarian food at lunchtime, and another one, dishing out decent Thai food at night.
The closest monorail station to Nagasari is Raja Chulian, a five minute walk away.
