Hokkaido Ramen Santouka
Noodle stop
What we say:
One of the city's few dedicated Japanese noodle restaurants, Hokkaido Ramen Santouka is the big draw, with long queues around lunch and dinner time.
Its speciality, as the name suggests, is ramen (wheat noodle soup), done in four ways: shio (pork broth), miso (soybean paste mixed with pork broth), shoya (soy sauce mixed with pork broth), and torusen toroniku (with simmered pork cheek). Other dishes include gyoza (fried Japanese dumpling) and deep fried chicken.
You'll find Hokkaido Ramen Santouka on the sixth floor of Pavilion KL. The closest public transport is Bukit Bintang Monorail a five minute walk away.
