Turkish in KL
What we say:
Moving on from Lebanon, but not from the Pavilion, is KL's only Turkish restaurant, Bosphorus.
Though strictly speaking not part of the Middle East, Turkish cuisine shares many of the same dishes. What makes Bosphorus special though, is the offerings which are more particular to Turkey, including imam bayaldi (baked stuffed aubergine), cacik (yoghurt and garlic dip), lahmacun (Turkish lamb pizza), and hunkar begendi (literally "the Sultan's favourite", slow cooked lamb served on aubergine puree).
Pavilion KL is a five minute walk from Bukit Bintang monorail station and you'll find Bosphorus on the sixth floor.
