Pappa Rich
Good value for money
What we say:
The local chain, Pappa Rich, is a welcome addition to the KL dining scene, providing Malaysian comfort food in pleasant surroundings.
Malaysia does not have a national cuisine as such; rather it is home to several culinary traditions, principally Malay, Chinese and Indian. Having said that, plenty of fusion has taken place over the years, producing dishes which enjoy popularity across the country's various communities.
Pappa Rich's long menu provides a chance to enjoy many of these favourites; several even have vegetarian versions. As well as offering tasty, filling food, it's also good value for money.
Bangsar Village is a twenty minute walk (or five minute cab ride) from Bangsar LRT on the Kelana Jaya line.

Madam Kwan's offers much the same fare, but is pricier and less veggie-friendly.
