Albion KL
Some of the best gastropub fare in KL
What we say:
A relatively new kid on the block, Albion KL has quickly built up a reputation for some of the best gastropub fare in town.
Named after the ancient name for Britain, the menu would not be out of place in London, where the two owners (one British, one Malaysian) learnt their trade. Albion KL serves up a mixture of British classics with a twist, such as beer battered fish and chips, as well as more global offerings, like gravadlax (Swedish-style cured salmon).
The express lunch deal, offering three courses for around 30 ringgit is great value. Also recommended is Sunday roast (with all the trimmings).
Albion KL is a short walk from the main Changkat Bukit Bintang stretch and a five to ten minute walk from either Bukit Bintang or Raja Chulian monorail stations.
