If you're starting to think all South Indian food is vegetarian, try this hidden gem specialising in the seafood of Kerala state.

With the liberal use of fresh coconut, dishes like prawn curry, masala crab and banana leaf fish are almost as sweet as they are spicy. For land-lovers there's the Keralan twist on chicken curry and a sinfully delicious dish of mutton with fried coconut. Premaas' cook definitely does justice to the food of his homeland. In addition to the usual juices and lassis they also serve beer.
