As the creators of the original Singapore chilli crab, Palm Beach could charge whatever they want and still have a loyal following
However prices are comparable to other upscale seafood spots and the new waterfront restaurant is stunning. While the signature chilli crab with mantou (fried buns) to soak up the sauce is a must, chefs do justice to other crustaceans in dishes like "drunken prawns" cooked in Chinese wine and lobster vermicelli. Combination plates are an opportunity to sample many dishes but require a minimum of four diners. Seafood is priced by weight and crab is S$45 per kilo.
