East Coast Lagoon Food Village
Great for seafood
What we say:
The best way to enjoy Singapore's East Coast beach isn't a dip in the ocean but an al fresco dinner at the hawker centre.
The 50-some stalls serve staples like chicken satay, fish curry, duck rice and fried noodles, but most people make the trip out especially for the barbecued seafood. Choose from crab, prawns, squid, stingray, fish, and sea creatures you've never seen before — it's as fresh and tasty as any restaurant for half the price. When you're done feasting you can work off some calories with a stroll along the beach.
