East Coast Park
An entire range of eateries
What we say:
The water may be too dirty for swimming, but you can still enjoy a meal with your sand in the toes at East Coast Park.
You'll find everything from fast food chains to expensive seafood restaurants, or for the same grilled fish and shellfish at half the price head to the East Coast Lagoon Hawker Centre.
East Coast Park is easiest to reach on the weekend when there's a public bus service, but this is also when it's at its busiest.
You can bring you own food and drinks too, but the beachside picnic tables are on a first-come-first-serve basis.
