Khansama Tandoori
North Indian for all kinds of diners
What we say:
If you can forgive their touts who annoy pedestrians on Serangoon Road, Khansama really is a great spot for North Indian food.
Chicken, fish, and mutton kebabs emerge from the clay oven perfectly juicy and, paired with some fluffy naan and chutney, are a mouthful of bliss. Vegetarians don't have to feel excluded as paneer, potatoes, and even mushrooms also get the tandoori treatment. Khansama also does tasty curries like butter chicken and mutton korma, but they're so rich you may need a post-dinner nap. The nicest seats in the house are in the upstairs dining room where there's also a full bar.
