Tawandang Microbrewery

Yes, this is the same Tawandang Brewery made famous in Bangkok for pairing German-style suds with spicy Thai food. Their three signature beers — all-pleasing lager, fruity Weizen, and malty Dunkel — are brewed on site and you can see the big copper vats behind the bar. In the kitchen Tawandang is 100% Thai with Thai chefs serving up tom yam soup, grilled seafood and crispy pork knuckle. The huge beer hall can get very crowded and very noisy, especially when the Thai band takes the stage. Reservations are a must on the weekend or try the second branch at Suntec City mall.
