The setting is pure hawker centre but the American grub like Cajun chicken, gumbo, and chile con carne is the real deal and the burgers taste like they were grilled in your own backyard.

A gut-busting meal with two sides (try the spicy fries) will set you back around $10 and steaks are a steal from $13 for a sirloin. A dozen Botak Jones stalls are scattered island-wide, some Halal-certified, but the Orchard Road spot is the most central and open late.
