Elegant Southeast Asian cuisine
What we say:
Adjacent to the Asian Civilizations Museum, it seems fitting that this elegant waterfront restaurant specialises in the cuisine of Southeast Asia.
The results are more homage than duplication — don't expect the S$40 Cambodian-style chilli prawns or S$25 papaya salad to taste anything like streetfood — but the cuisine is fresh, flavourful and beautifully presented. The restaurant's interior must borrow their stunning art from the museum and the al fresco tables have beautiful views over the Singapore River. Service is excellent and can answer important questions like "what wine pairs with Luang Prabang sausage?"
