With locations in Singapore's biggest malls — Vivocity, Wisma Atria, 313@Somerset and Suntec City — this food court chain is a hit those who wants to eat hawker food in a cleaner, more comfortable setting.

Some of the city's most famous street-chefs have set up branches at Food Republic and you can feast on Hokkien prawn noodles, fried carrot cake, oyster omelettes, roti prate, laksa and yong tau foo in air-con comfort for around $5 a dish.

Food Republic is more stylish than most food courts with wooden tables and paper lanterns to make it look like a traditional kopitiam.
