Streetfood: Silom Soi 20

Yum yum

Photo of Streetfood: Silom Soi 20

What we say: 4 stars

This lovely soi has a plethora of street food, including a covered wet market that is fantastic in the morning.

For lunch and dinner, vendors set up all up and down this street, serving forth noodles, some excellent southern Thai Muslim food (there's a mosque down this soi as well), all manner of grilled meats and moo daeng baame heng (roasted red pork tossed with wheat noodles and a dark reduction).

Soi 20, also known as Soi Pradit, runs between Silom and Surawong to the north a little to the west of the middle of Silom Road. It's easy to find -- just look for the crowds.
