Khin Lom Chom Saphan

This riverside restaurant has a great deck alongside the Chao Praya River, immediately downriver from the Rama 8 Bridge.

No pic at the moment -- Sorry!

Normally, claiming that a restaurant can see a bridge in Asia is not really a selling point, but the Rama 8 Bridge is pretty special when lit up at night. The food at this popular place is excellent as well — the menu focuses on fresh seafood served in a Thai preparation. The prawns, either grilled or served in a tom yum soup were excellent. This riverside restaurant feels miles from the city around it and is popular with groups of Thai office workers and families. There is a vomit sink in the bathroom (it functions exactly how it reads), which is worrying, but every evening Travelfish has been here it's been full of people having a good time but not going crazy. Recommended.
