Great choice for Thai vegetarian

What we say: 4 stars

A one-stop-shop for your vegetarian needs in central Bangkok.

Centrally located Deva serves up meatless renditions of Thai classics like spicy laap salads, massaman curry and fried holy basil dishes that will satisfy both your quest for a vegetarian meal and your craving for that unmistakable Thai blend of flavours.

Both aahaan sang tham (made-to-order) and kap khao (displayed pre-prepared dishes served with rice) are available, and the latter allow you to see exactly what's on offer before asking for a "a little of this, a little of that."

We thoroughly enjoyed a spicy southern Thai style curry with pumpkin, a tofu laap salad and a plate of fried long stem mushrooms.

The restaurant is clean and cool, and a range of quality fruit shakes also hit the spot on a hot day.

Deva is located a few minutes’ walk from Ploenchit BTS Station in Mahathun Plaza, close to the top of Sukhumvit Road.
