What we say: 
Insomnia is a popular club in Pattaya that opened a space in Bangkok in November 2010.
It is a big, black warehouse looking structure with a booming sound system and plenty of space to dance like you mean it.
The front door staff is a bit of a mess — your correspondent has waited fifteen minutes to get into the club, not because there was a line, but because it took that long to pay and get a hand stamp.
The 300 baht cover for guys includes a drink; ladies pay 100 baht but have special drink prices once they get inside. Because this is Bangkok, there are some working girls looking for old Euro dudes inside, but not enough whore action to make this place a drag.
Domestic beers and rail cocktails are 99 baht from 22:00 - 0:00, but you'd do better to get tanked at the attached V8 Diner (which has even cheaper drinks during their 13:00 - 01:00 happy hour) as you also get free admission to Insomnia with a purchase from V8 Diner.
