Hot Bread
Perfect breakfast spot
What we say: 
We almost disregarded this small restaurant as a weak attempt at tourist-friendly fare, the sort of which are a dime-a-dozen in Thailand.
It turned out to be quite the contrary. Hot Bread does indeed serve up fresh, house made bread (toasted if you like) along with full western breakfast sets to satisfy any appetite or budget. They also have excellent selection of other western foods, Thai favorites, vegetarian options, and delicious coffee, all at reasonable prices.
The operator, Usa, is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and ready and willing to make recommendations when asked. She and her sister who helps run the place both speak excellent English.
Be warned though: the sisters like to travel too! As such, they are usually not around for several weeks around the time of April/May (though were not sure if they hire a caretaker in their absence or not). If you’re looking for some travel advice, or just some good scones, Hot Bread is a great place to get both.
