The Yogarden
A yoga studio/vegan cafe with lots of personality
What we say: 
Opened late 2012 in a lovely restored Thai wooden house, this yoga studio-cum-cafe fits in seamlessly among the trendy coffee shops and boutiques of Fisherman's Village.
The studio is a bright and pleasant open-air spread cooled by fans and surrounded by orchid-filled gardens. Various types of yoga are offered at the competitive weekly rate of 800 baht, with discounts offered for longer memberships. Daily rates are also available, and a special of 200 baht for the first week is offered to new members. The studio also arranges yoga holiday packages in collaboration with nearby hotels and guesthouses that range from budget to luxury, and these can be tailored to include reiki training, detox plans and various therapeutic treatments.
A range of vegan dishes are also served in a chilled out cafe defined by beanbag chairs and tastefully quirky art. Rather than being "a yoga studio" with a separate "cafe", the two sort of mingle together, and The Yogarden regularly holds film nights and impromptu music sessions which are great for meeting other people.
Yoga classes are currently held at 09:00 and 18:00 Monday through Friday, and also on Saturday mornings.
Babysitting services are also available although this needs to be arranged in advance.
To get here, turn left immediately after Namcha Teahouse after entering the Fisherman's Village gates and follow the road for 200 metres to The Yogarden.
