What we say: 
The refurbishment since our last update has brought with it additional space upstairs.
Although downstairs retains the same slightly grunge-y look -- and aroma -- it's always had. But that's part of Half Man Half Noodle's appeal, as is the rock music, which makes a refreshing change from dance music.
It's a great place to meet and converse, rather than dance, and the food's not bad either.
