Pho 2000
A Saigon staple
What we say:
Pho 2000, right across the street from Ben Thanh market, is one of the more popular eateries in Saigon.
Famed for a visit from former US president Bill Clinton, they are the self-proclaimed best pho in town. While we'd make a case that it's not actually the best in town, the pho is decent and better than what you find in fancier chain restaurants.
Because of their fame, you will pay slightly more for a bowl here than you would in similar street establishments, but at only 40,000 VND a bowl you're still not paying much.
This hyped spot is on the smaller side and crowded at all hours of the day.
