Nghi Xuan
The place to sample Hue cuisine
What we say:
A walk down a small alley off of Nguyen Sieu will lead you to Nghi Xuan, an attractive three-storey restaurant specialising in Hue cuisine.
With a design similar to a mini palace, the dark brown woods and warm lighting give it a very romantic feel. The menu is most definitely Hue, with dishes such as fermented pork rolls and sweet sticky rice, and it looks as good as it tastes. Its tucked away location has helped it remain a secret, with light crowds being the norm.
If the weather is pleasant, the outdoor terrace is a particularly inviting spot to enjoy your traditional food.
