Cuc Gach Quan
Beautiful and delicious
What we say:
Mixed in with residential buildings, the easy to miss Cuc Gach Quan is one of the most beautifully decorated restaurants in Saigon.
Located on a short street in the Tan Dinh Ward of District 1 in a redesigned French colonial mansion, complete with antique wooden furniture and floating staircase, the restaurant prides itself on delivering traditional, country-style food free of pesticides and preservatives.
Their thick menu has something for every taste and also boasts an impressive selection of vegetarian fare, anchored by delicious homemade tofu.
The 10-minute taxi ride from downtown doesn't stop people from showing up, which makes reserving a table in advance a smart option.
