Sozo
Helping a good cause rarely tastes this good.
What we say:
One of the more ‘feel good' establishments in Saigon, Sozo is a small cafe that employs disadvantaged youth to teach them English and work skills.
All profits received from the sale of delicious American-style coffee, muffins and cookies goes back to the training and education of the staff. The positive energy of the cafe gives it a great overall atmosphere and many people, both local and tourist, are there to enjoy it.
They also host informal English speaking clubs a couple of evenings a week where local students come to converse with foreigners. Helping a good cause rarely tastes this good.
