What we say: 
A somewhat forgotten spot on the corner of Dong Du, Java Coffee House is being rediscovered at just the right moment. In its heyday, it was one of the premiere cafes in the city, but a poor redesign caused it to lose favour with local clientele. Now, trying to regain its former glory with a remodel and fresh menu, people are remembering the days of old. While always known for great Vietnamese-style coffee and healthy smoothies, the food, now with better quality Italian dishes, is worth a try. Overall the new layout works and it has a cosy atmosphere with some of Saigon's most comfortable chairs.
