La Fourchette

One of Saigon's best French restaurants

What we say: 4 stars

Frequented by French expats and tourists, which is always a good sign, the nearly two decades' old La Fourchette has established itself as one of Saigon's best French restaurants.

The wood panelled dining area is small, but still comfortable, and adds to the warm, homely atmosphere. A good spot for a business lunch or an intimate dinner, here they serve traditional French dishes, such as escargot, goat cheese salad and onion soup.

Prices are high by Vietnamese standards but the ambiance of the restaurant makes it worth paying extra if this is within your budget.

Due to La Fourchette's small size a reservation is strongly recommended.
