We're really delighted with it and it is absolutely packed to the rafters with information -- you will not need a guidebook

Anyways, I've got a couple of free ones to give away, so if you'd like a complimentary copy, just post below the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word:

Thank you, Travelfish! We just returned from Cambodia/Vietnam - it was the first time, we visited Angkor. The first day, we still had the LP with us to tour the temples, but then decided to leave the heavy book at the hotel and just use the app. It's fantastic, just all we needed!

Keep up the good work - we would love to see more SEA destinations!

Happy travels, Hemsi

Hi guys,
I am using Hanoi app currently. So my suggestions here are based on that apps.

1. Operating hours for attractions in the See & Do
2. Suggested time to start the tour and time to spend on each attractions in Walking tours
3. It is not clear if the attractions in Walking tours should be visited according to the sequence they are arranged. Perhaps u guys can work on this
3. More hotels (I cant find my hotels in your app)
4. Search function
5. Sending mails for comments, complaints etc from inside the app

That's all for now. Thanks.

Regards

Hi,
I love your app very much. But I just recently discovered that some text are not complete, they end up with full stops so I assume there should be more text after all, besides, the sentences are not complete. Please refer to the printscreen at http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2426552/hanoi%20app.jpg
I would really appreciate if you could rectify this bug before I go to Hanoi on the 23rd Nov. Im using iPhone 4, iOS 4.1. Thank you.

What Still No Android Aps?

Been a while since I've posted here, but checking in for help with planning my next trip.
I guess I'm repeating myself but I do feel very strongly that TravelFish are missing a trick by NOT having Android Aps. Stuart, are you aware that Android phones and now outselling iphones (inc iphone 4) by over 100k handsets per day? The phones themselves are in many cases far superior to iphones (IMO). A forward thinking chap may wish to consider urgently putting together some Android Aps. These my friends are the future, while Apple release a new phone every two years you'll find HTC, Samsung, Nokia, Sony all releasing new updated models every couple of months. Once you switch to Android you NEVER go back

Maybe it would help if people posted ...

Mapping Issue With Upgrade To IOS4

If you're using Travelfish apps on your iPhone or iPod Touch and have upgraded to iOS4 then you will have some problems with the maps -- namely if you zoom out and try to scroll, you'll see that the map goes, well, pear-shaped.

We're working on a fix to this right now and hope to upload new versions in the next 24-48 hours to Apple.

Apols for any inconvenience -- zoomed in, the maps still work fine.

The new Travelfish iPhone app looks fantastic, and just the thing I would need for my upcoming visit to Angkor.... if I was an iPhone user.

I was just wondering if travelfish has any plans to release Symbian version of their travel apps so that all us Nokia users can benefit too?

For those who like to travel like my family and I, we have all experienced that moment when plans change. (For those with children under 5, this may happen everyday... more than once). For us, we often make plans at the beginning of the day and later find ourselves changing our plans later into the day for a variety of reasons. This leads to pulling out the 'several hundred page' travel ...

The following are issues that we've noted in our first App, Angkor. I'll add to this as other points surface.

Beng Mealea: Admission is listed as being both US$20 and $5.
$5 is the correct figure and will be corrected in the next release.

Maps: Placenames when scrolled out are in Khmer script.
Town names, including Siem Reap, are in Khmer script when the map is zoomed out. When you zoom in you'll see the street names and so on are in English. We'll be adding English script for all town names in the next release.

Tours: The introduction to the tours section in transport has been cropped.
Yes, too many words and it will be fixed in the next release. The full text reads:
