Ao Lukyon is a rocky cove on the northeast tip of Ko Samet with a tiny sliver of sand at its centre accompanied by some terrific sea views.

If your prime goal is to get right away from the crowds, then Lukyon is a reasonable choice, but bear in mind you really will be right away from the crowds -- we've never, ever, seen another guest here. So if you want to share the (admittedly very small) beach with not another soul then you're in the right spot. There are a couple of laid back restaurants on Lukyon to choose from, but you're only a short walk from the hustle and bustle of Ko Samet's busiest beach, Haad Sai Kaew, if you do want some action.
