This small town stretches for a kilometre or so running along the north-south running Route 118.

There's not much to say about this place, its probably best known for the Cabbages and Condoms restaurant out of town to the south. Another point of interest is the District Office towards the southern end of town - its a very nice bulding and there is a wat set in a serene grove on the east side of route 118. District Office and wat aside, Wiang Pa Pao is just a junction of routes 118 and 1150.

If you're cycling through the north though, you could well find yourself here and reasonable food and lodging are available.
