One of Lampang's most easily-visited waterfalls, Than Thong runs off a cliff right next to the road. Two food stalls at the base offer a nice enough spots for weary travellers to rest.

It's not worth getting off the bus for, but if you're travelling under your own steam, stop here for a cool drink.

There are actually two parts to the falls, with the second section running down a rock face about 30m from the main falls.

The waterfall is around 30km from Wang Neua on the road to Phayao (route 120).
