Wang Neua sits at the junction of routes 120, 1035 and 1303. It's little more than a truck stop, with basic food available and plenty of motorcycle shops.
It's the closest town of any size to Wang Kaeo waterfall and is also reasonably close to Chae Son National Park. A bungalow resort is signposted as being on the edge of town, but at last pass darned if we could find it.
