Life according to Lostbeachbum
What can I say but I LOVE LIFE!!
I'm a Chef, entrepreneur, fearless traveler and culinary explorer. When people ask me what I do, I tell them I'm an International Man of Leisure at the moment. Mentally and spiritually I am in the best shape of my life. I don't take life too seriously and always enjoy the little things. I'm a beach bum at heart who hates the cold weather and tend to travel near the coast wherever I am. I'm confident and outgoing, I prefer quality over quantity, yet I'm pretty easy to please. All I need is great food, the open road or ocean, interesting people or a beautiful beach. I prefer a dive bar over a club. I'd rather wear sandals than shoes, shorts than pants, sleeveless not sleeves and bandana rather than a hat. I've lived in Jamaica on and off for a few years and my personality reflects this. Bob Marley is my favorite artist and I have over 400 reggae songs on my Ipod.
My life has been a crazy roller coaster and I grew up way before my time. Food, travel, people and adventure are my passions. I love bizarre foods and always am on the hunt for my new favorite restaurant. I'm laid back and try to live my life as stress free as possible. "HAKUNA MATATA" **420 friendly** My Mom raised a gentleman, so I hold doors, compliment women and say please/thank you. I love animals, especially dogs. Sometimes I feel like the Dog Whisperer! I'm a die hard Baltimore Ravens fan and bleed purple!
To me the only way to travel is off the beaten path. My dream is to own a small bar/restaurant by the sea and travel all 7 continents, slowly, mostly by motorcycle and without a plan, which I intend to do very soon. I've given up the life I knew, sold everything I own and will embark on my indefinite RWT in October. So far I only have a rough route in mind, mostly just a list of places I want to see and things I want to do before I die.
9 months on and off in Jamaica Multiple trips to Mexico Multiple trips to Caribbean Canada Dozens of road trip across the US 100k+ Miles ridden on motorcycle
I sold my company, home, and everything else I owned to travel the world indefinitely. My 7 continent RWT starts on Oct 12 with Thailand being the first stop. 4 months around SE Asia by motorcycle then off to New Zealand to do the same thing.
