Charlie has lived in Chiang Mai, Thailand for many years. He retired and moved from Blackpool, England to the beautiful city of Chiang Mai, Thailand, where he had decided to become a Gentleman of leisure. But only one thing was missing from the paradise areas of Northern Thailand, a restaurant that served a decent meal of real authentic English fish and chips. So he decided to open his own fish and chips restaurant. He called it, Cheerful Charlie’s English fish & chips restaurant. From the beginning it was a roaring success and has become renowned throughout the province of Chiang Mai, Thailand’s second largest city.
