Diving on Koh Rong

While snorkelling on Koh Rong is good enough to keep you busy, diving is also available.

The Dive Shop offers diving and diving courses. If you are diving with them, you can stay in their 14-bed dorm on the pier. It's a bit claustrophobic but is certainly handy and included in the price of PADI packages..

Fun dives are $45 or two for $65. They also offer PADI scuba diver certification for $265, open water for $320 and National Geographic Diver certification for $195. They have a daily boat from Sihanoukville at 07:00 for $15.

Koh Rong Dive Centre is a larger operation offering twice daily scuba diving trips around the island's waters. Courses include PADI diver training, kids programmes and reef checks. Two fun dives cost $65 for certified divers, a two day PADI course is $265 and an underwater photography or naturalist course is $129.

Accomodation on the pier starts at $5 with a shared bathroom, or you can stay at one of the affiliated resorts. Daily boats from Sihanoukville at 08:00 and 14:00 for $20 open return.
