If the ocean is too fierce, there is another option worth considering -- especially if you have kids in tow.

Splash has set up a variety of huge inflatables in the water off of Ochheuteal beach including slides, a bouncy climbing wall, trampoline and a pool. It's Western-owned and managed and they have lifejackets on request. Admission is $3 for adults and $2.50 for kids for a full day of fun. They also rent secure lockers for $1.

Splash Kelly's Shack, Ochheuteal Beach, Sihanoukville. Open daily, 10:00/11:00-18:00. High season only, generally December through May.
