Hidden jungle temple

What we say:

Not far from Banteay Chhmar, Prasat Samnang Tasok is a hidden temple located within thick vegetation making it difficult to find if you don't have a guide (we strongly suggest bringing a guide along as land mine warnings are present in the area).

You'll cross a small stream by means of a wooden makeshift bridge that looks like it could crack at any moment.

Unlike many of the temples surrounding Banteay Chhmar, Prasat Samnang Tasok is in relatively good condition with visible Bayon-style towers and ancient carvings. With its peaceful jungle atmosphere, you'll be at one with nature. Definitely worth dropping by.
