Horseback rides
Modern facilities, great horses
What we say:
The opportunity to ride through paddy and past hidden little temples is a genuinely wonderful experience, especially at dawn, which can be a magnificent experience.
Run by a Cambodian-American, most of the horses at the ranch are actually Cambodian ponies retired from racing in Vietnam and Thailand. Because of their small size, there's a weight limit of 90 kilograms for riders.
The ranch itself is an eight-hectare plot about 1.5 kilometres south of the city centre. Rides range from beginner, trainer-led loops around the arena for $10, to four-hour trail rides through the countryside and villages for more experienced riders costing $64.
